BKLYN MOSS, founded by Nara, emerged during the pandemic as she sought solace in creative pursuits while residing in Brooklyn. Experimenting with various crafts, she found tranquility in candle-making, despite initial challenges in mastering the art. With a focus on sustainability, BKLYN MOSS candles are hand-poured using natural waxes, glassware, and fragrance oils sourced from Grasse, France. Inspired by her childhood memories in Dominica, the signature collection evokes the scents of ripe guavas, passionfruit vines, and almond essence. Nara's vision is to offer candles that evoke warmth and comfort, donating proceeds to support STEM and art-based youth programs.
